Dengue Ayurvedic Treatment

There is no such specific treatment of classical dengue fever and it is most likely that the person gets recovered within 2 weeks. The severe symptoms of dengue include coma and shock and aggressive emergency treatment along with electrolyte replacement and fluid can save life.

Some options of treatment that might enhance the cure of classical dengue fever are as follows:

  • Take 125 mg of Hinguleshwar with 360 mg of Shunthi Churna and have this mixture 4 times atleast with hot water or tea daily. In case the body temperature rises above 104°F (40°C), then the patient can use cold pad till the temperature gets subsidized. Use the pad on the forehead.
  • Tulsi (holy Basil) is another ayurvedic medicine that is used for the dengue fever treatment. The characteristics of tulsi are very helpful in the ayurvedic therapy. The tulsi leaves are used for producing soothing effects on nervous system. The leaves of tulsi strengthen stomach and also induce copious perspiration.
  • Panchanamrutham Kashayam,Sudarsanam gulika, Amruthottaram kashayam and Amrutharistam can be used in treatment.
