How to Prevent Dengue Fever

Prevention measures of dengue fever are as follows in the below points. They are

  • Try to avoid contact with mosquitoes by using repellents which prevent from mosquitoes.
  • Try to make sure the pits and holes get covered as it can make the house to be able to breed mosquitoes including our work place, area etc.
  • Do not let the water container open make sure that it will be covered with lid.
  • Try to make the doors closed as it can be the way for the mosquitoes and even from our windows.
  • Try to wear clothes which prevents you from mosquitoes bites like long sleeved shirts, pants etc.
  • Try to make use of mosquitoes net.
  • Make sure that the containers filled with water are cleaned up to prevent breeding of eggs of mosquito Aedes.
  • Cover the head of the tanks to avoid access of breeding of mosquitoes.
  • It is found that the female Aedes bite during the hours of early morning and the hours before the darkling so take special measures during this time.
  • There is no prescribed vaccine is available for dengue fever.
